No mag in way with R-7722 either but then its not a cheap gun . And it dosen't have a tube that is damaged easy or a follower tube that turns green . And it is far easier to carry an extra loaded mag or 2 than loose ammo and try to load with cold wet fingers .
But thats just me , and i grew up on a Golden 39A with a tube so i speak from experince .
