Champs or chumps ?
« on: December 19, 2009, 04:39:11 AM »
  The Obama "death panel" health care less plan...
   Both Joe Lieberman and Ben Nelson have caved in..if you are a voter in Connecticuit or Nebraska and have voted for either of them previously, will you now re-think your vote ?

Lieberman will continue to be re-elected until he dies or quits.  Not sure about Nelson.

I have a suspicion that Lieberman just said he would vote for it to get the thugs off his back, we'll see what happens when it comes time to vote. Lieberman is one of the few dems with any integrity at all, but caved when they started attacking his wife for her ties to the Susan Komen foundation, which is tied to planned parenthood. I guess it's ok to go after someones family as long as it's the democrats doing it.

i believe he did a politicaly smart move. he figured it was going down even without his no..and it may yet. so he took the heat off by saying he was for it. yey he has not cast his vote. i think he will sit back let the rest of them fight it out and if and only if he has to will he vote and that vote will be no.

pretty smart man that joe...

  Mirage;
     Well; it looks like Joe did vote for it! He is one of the few (ex) Democrats with integrity..but that has tarnished a bit. Sure is comical how the Dems can view Joe's wife as so evil as to be somehow connected with an outfit that supports Planned Parenthood, when these same Democrats are the ones who have a "take no prisoners" attitude toward the same pre-born boys & girls !

We should be cautious about "revenge voting" on single issues.  There's a chance that the replacement might be worse than what we have, although with the jokers that we have from my state, it would be hard to find anything worse.  Look at the opposition, compared to what you have.  The place to get rid of derelicts that are coming up for re-election is in the primaries.  Make sure they have some opposition at that level, then you've broadened your choices.
