I did well with 120 gr. loose triple 7 and T/C Bonded Shockwaves 250 gr. The 100 cross hairs, and the 150 and 200 yard circles worked as advertised.
If  you're going to make a hole, make it a big one.

I would get rid of the L-N-L sabots, or at least clip off the tail, the hole in the middle of the pellets is there so both pellets ignite at the same time. Sorry to derail your thread about the BDC, I don't have one.

Don't let the tail wag the dog... If you have a load that shoots/works well for you, zero the rifle and shoot to find where the circles intersect the trajectory. Write down the results and tape them to your stock.

I have the same rifle and scope, but I haven't had time yet to test it in that way. But I also would suggest using a differnt bullet and maybe even swicthing to plain Pyrodex. There isn't anything that will shoot more consistant and for the most part with less trouble. Some guys like the new Blackhorn209 which I've heard is a lot cleaner, but may also present some ignition problems with certain primers. I use HornadayXTP's and like them.

Thompson Set the Specs using 3 777's for a 150 grains and 250 gr. T/C Shockwave Sabots.
The Circles are Zero at 100, Then 150,200,225,250
I also just found this site, http://www.nikonusa.com/fileuploads/pdfs/OMEGA_manual.pdf
WOW. Very Interesting for Zeroing in with Spec loads, AND With Different Grain Loads.
Good Luck.
