Mexican War Artillery

There's a pretty good description in this regarding the Battle of Palo Alto and the use of artillery in it.  In the artillery section describing the various kinds of ammo, I think there are some errors in diameters of canister balls etc., some of the numbers they give don't make sense, I don't know where they got them.
