How many friends to you really have?

my old grandpa and dad always told me ,that if you want to see if a man is your friend ,,,loan them $10.00. then they'll hide from you     they also said that during my lifetime i would be lucky to count on one hand the TRUE friends i have

In these hard economic times, people will learn that their "better than you" fancy veneer will have to come off. What really matters will be revealed, and it aint the things that many folks have been amassing in our generation. It will take a major attitude change. I see that happening lately, Chips on shoulders falling, snobbiness fading, where I'm at. I say, be open, be kind, be willing to mend fences so to speak.

When things get hard, most people flake. I thought I had a really good friend, but they flaked when things got rought and screwed me in the process... Live and learn

Yeah , I went through that this year too. Notice I didn't say generous. I learned to be kind, but not generous with my money. Hopefully he/she learned a hard lesson in the end too. Keep taking taking from friends, expecting they will always carry the load for them, and eventually friends leave. There are people that have no integrity. Tough love happens eventually, and they're alone on the river without a paddle.

give folks an honest look so that they can make an honest decision----you may be suprised, but, it certainly produces the best friends.
