SB1 Frame and Huntsman 50 Cal Barrel

SO am I to understand correctly if you have an SB1 Frame it is Okay to shoot the Huntsman 50 cal Muzzleloader Barrel on this Frame as well as  ANY  shotgun Barrel wether it be a Smooth bore or Rifled? ANd if wanting to shoot a Rifle Barrel off of this frame I should call H&R with Serial # on frame to See what it can Handle and/or Just dont do it.

I am sure glad I read this and found Gray Beard outdoors, Stumbled on it by accident when I googled Thompsan Encore.

The only centerfire rifle barrels that H&R will fit to SB1 frames are 357mag and 44mag as long as the frame was made 1987 or later, see the build year list in the FAQs or call H&R and they'll tell you what barrels can be fitted, they'll need the frame serial number. Huntsman barrels can be fitted as well, except they're out of them until early spring next year.  SB1 frames can be fitted with 20ga Ultra Slug Hunter barrels also, all but not the 10ga based barrels. You can fit your own second hand barrels if you're the DIY type, instructions in the FAQs.
