DP,  I had loaded some up to middle of the velocity spread and it was not a problem at all. It felt somewhat like a hot 38Special +P  158 grain, in one of our 357 Handi's.    Doug

A .25-35, a .30-30, and a .35 Rem. pretty much fill the bill for everything.

tykempster, here ya go. The round on the left is a WW 150gr Power Point  30-30.The 25-35  same parent case necked down to .257.The bullet I am going to use is the Nosler BT  115 grain, it has a high ballistic coefficient and at the velocities I can get should work real well. I will also load a cast 100gr at 800fps for play/small game.    hth    Doug

No Sir, It has been to cold for me to get any range time at all.  I am hoping for a break at the end of next week, but this is Montana in the winter and it could be next spring. ::)  I am loading up a series for testing, so at least that is coming along.
The 25-35 is a easy round to load for, but has it challenges IE;  no Lee case length gauge.
No Lee factory crimp die,  so being a proud member of the Handiholic clan I am using a case length gauge for a 243 Winchester and a factory crimp die for a 250-3000.We adapt. ;D
cw, that is a beautifull stock.        Doug
