Still Trying For number two
« on: December 06, 2009, 07:30:38 AM »
Sunday on a lunch break.  Not too much time before I go back out.  I put this in the Handi area as well earlier but I forgot to post anything here.  Still trying for number two this time with the TC Contender in 45-70.  Got the button on Tuesday with Smith 629 at about fifty yards.  Going out to finish the last day of regular gun season to see if I can get lucky again!

See Ya,

Wolfgang

Thanks Stimpy.  I wish you would have gotten to go.  You think you might get a chance on the extra weekend?  I just got back in the house a little while ago.  Cold, Cold, Cold!  Didn't get a shot at a second one.  I'll try again in a couple of weeks.

Wolfgang, what load are you using in that .45-70? I have one also, a 14 inch w/muzzle tamer. Took a 5 point with it last year. I guess I am becoming a wimp, mine kicks too much for me. I might sell it. My new baby is my 14 inch .375 Win T/C w/muzzle tamer. Just love it, took a doe with it this year.
