Prayers for Tim, please...
« on: November 27, 2009, 02:04:05 PM »
Tim is a young man from my home church and a US Marine. Tim arrived with his dog, in Afghanistan last Tuesday(11/24/09. Tim's job is especially hazardous..since he and his dog are a bomb detection team. Keep him in your prayers, please..
I ask the Lord daily to keep a guardian angel beside him and hide Tim in "the hollow of His hand"..
If you don't want the truth, don't ask me.  If you want something sugar coated...go eat a donut !  (anon)

Ironglow, I just saw your post and my prayers are with him. My nephew Clint, who is in the Army is in Afghanistan and my nephew Wayne, who is in the Army is in Iraq. This is Wayne's four time over there.
Kind hearts are gardens, Kind thoughts are roots, Kind words are blossoms, Kind deeds are fruits.

Prayers sent.
When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life so that when you die the world cries and you rejoice.

Dear Lord,
We know you are watching over Tim and his partner, we know you love Tim and want him to be safe.
Lord, we ask that you keep Tim aware of his surroundings and practicing safe techniques to do his best
to be a safe worker in an extremely dangerous calling.  Bless him with good health and bring him home safe.
In Jesus' name!
Life is short and hard, fun seems optional and I have chosen to enjoy the years I have left at every opportunity. God is good, all the time.
