Extractor to Ejector conversion
« on: December 31, 2009, 07:03:06 AM »
To all handi rifle fans HAPPY NEW YEAR.  My son and i own 4 , 1 shotgun and 3 rifles. I have a question and hope someone can help. My sons girlfriend wanted to buy him a rifle, she couldnt afford alot and I told her he really wanted a 223 bull barrel so she bought him one for christmas last year. Upon shooting it , it would not eject the shell we thought it was broke so took it back to dealer, He called factory to send it back they said no it wasnt broke they changed to extract not eject. With scope mounted and gloves on you cant get the shell out. Ive called the factory they were really rude about it said they have had complaints for a year but wont change anything took it to two gunsmiths they say the factory wont sell them the parts to change it. Does anybody know how to fix this. Really liked these rifles but wont buy anymore that extract over eject to bad really can think of at least 4-5 more id like to own. Thanks

Welcome! The answers you seek are in the FAQs and Help sticky, it's chock full of stuff you never knew you needed to know including how to convert a factory extractor to an ejector or improved ejector, Browell's and Numrich sell the parts required.  ;)

Happy New Year to you and yours too!
