.30-.30 avalibility
« on: December 31, 2009, 07:10:51 AM »
Does anyone know or have any idea when 30-30's or the barrels will be available. I spoke with Ann at customer service the 28th and she said she has no way of knowing?? She talked like it would be 4-6 MONTHS. Any help would be appreciated.

Last time I checked earlier this month, the only barrels Marlin had scheduled for production were Huntsman for the first quarter of 2010, they did a run of 30-30 rifles 2 weeks ago, but whether they have any accessory barrels left over is another matter, they make more money on complete rifles that acc barrels, so that's where the barrels go first. If you want a 30-30 barrel, I'd send an order in and hope for the best..... if you're not in any hurry.

That sounds like a good idea. I also looked for a new 30-30 can't find them either. I guess I will just send it in and hope for the best. Thanks for the help.

What barrels are available right now? You would think that a 30-30 would be a staple!

If you have a favorite mom and pop shop, have them place an order for one, when they arrive at the distributor you'd get first crack at them depending on how many are ahead of you. Keep and eye on Bud's, he constantly gets new rifles in stock, they're listed under H&R and NEF.
