Whats it going to take?
« on: December 28, 2009, 11:03:27 PM »
I see things getting turned upside down everyday these days! I mean Politics, War, Peace and Religion. Its like we are living in a parallel universe only everything our Fathers held dear is wrong and the world is backwards from what we were taught as children.  Is it just me?  I heard a guy on the radio today say that he has a new son,and is encouraged by obama and feels like obama is doing his best and we should back him up. That made me wanna pull my hair out! I think we are going down like a lawn dart into the dirt! You see what they are doing with medical care, they dont care that a majority dont want it, hell they dont want it! but your gonna get it!

These options are just a few that came to mind.  I started thinking when will people that work or worked hard their whole lives get up on their hind legs, off the couch and quit bitching and do something like take to the streets and say I'm mad as hell and I aint gonna take it any more! In other words are you just gonna sit and wait till they come to get you?

Vote if you wanna, and you cant hurt my feelings, but say what it is going to take to get you out there with a big stick and start taking this country back.  Or say why you think I'm upset over nothing.

Charlton Hesston said it many years ago. He said the USA was in the beginning stages of internal cultural war. He was right. It is escalating out of control as the newer generation are released from the public school systems with a slanted view of our history and no understanding or appreciation of our founding principles. This country’s greatest times are long over. The commitment to self reliance, individualism, responsibility, God, and our constitution have become fading visions in our rear view mirror.

Yes they have began to fade fast. I for one, have stopped voting the lessor of, and instead started voting for 100% pro Constitutions , and Bill of Rights ONLY. And yes they are available, and most are not Democrats or Republicans. They are the reasons the schools and the economy is where it is now. Why would I continue down that road?

I stay busy writing to my congressman/senator we are almost on a first name basis), they don’t know my opinion on issues unless they hear from me.  I also try to motivate my friends and e-mail buddies to do the same.  I write newspapers articles (letters to the editor) and send them all over the USA trying to influence the thinking of the voting public.  I am currently very actively involved in several issues that concern me.

I encourage each of you to do the same, as the old saying goes, “the squeaking wheel gets the oil.”  We need to make our opinions know to as many like thinkers as we can.  The more we can motivate, the better chance we stand at the polls come next election..

To send "letters to the Editor" go to Hometownnews.com and select the papers you wish to write, many won't print your article but most will.  A while back I "cut and Pasted" (e-mailed) an article to 156 different newspapers on illegal immigration, approximately 125 papers printed my letter, which generated letters form numerous people in the local areas and perhaps help prevent Obama's amensty program, or at least put it on hold.

Gentlemen, if each and every one of us act daily on issues of concern it will make a difference.

What would a list of the "EFFECTIVE" things that we can do consist of ?
Oath Keepers: start local
-
“It is no coincidence that the century of total war coincided with the century of central banking.” – Ron Paul, End the Fed
-
An economic crash like the one of the 1920s is the only thing that will get the US off of the road to Socialism that we are on and give our children a chance at a future with freedom and possibility of economic success.
-

I will be the first to admit I don't know what the best solution is for the problems this country has. My gut feeling tells me that the voting booth wont fix these problems because of corruption through out the political parties. I see people writing letters to news papers, congressmen and senators without much benefit. These politicians seem to overlook what the voters are telling them. As an example look at the stimulus package and health care mess. The government has forgotten who they serve and what they were elected for (the betterment of the country). The only way we are going to change things is take it to the streets and into the lives of these government officals. Face to face contact foot to ass tactics.

Some are listed above, but i'm afraid casual indirect efforts will not be enough! and I am serious as a heart attack!
We are close in my estimation of going out in the streets and being the men our forefathers were! They revolted over less than  what is going on now!

Not to say that we should not do all we can politically but as the medical debacle is going they dont care how we feel about it! They wont sign up for it but will tax you to death, literally, and then tell you that you have lived a long life and they cant afford to spend the bucks to save your life any longer. Drop the remote get up and do as they did in the sixties, yell "hell no we wont go" to work anymore, we wont pay the taxes, we wont buy your unconstitutional insurance and we wont wait in lines for medical care while you bankrupt us and the country!

A man after my own heart! Look fellas, my opinion is  the "already doing something" option is a cop out!
Sure voting and writing letters is comendable but FUTILE! They aint listening we need to talk to them by hand, so to speak!

Yes, they are listening. Listening to the people that are making them rich. For example, here's a bit from today's news:

The good news for Senator Ben Nelson is that he doesn't have to face Nebraska voters until 2012.

If Governor Dave Heineman challenges Nelson for the Senate job, a new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey shows the Republican would get 61% of the vote while Nelson would get just 30%. Nelson was reelected to a second Senate term in 2006 with 64% of the vote.

Nelson's health care vote is clearly dragging his numbers down. Just 17% of Nebraska voters approve of the deal their senator made on Medicaid in exchange for his vote in support of the plan. Overall, 64% oppose the health care legislation, including 53% who are Strongly Opposed. In Nebraska, opposition is even stronger than it is nationally.

Sorry Oldshooter, I'll have to leave the 'hand talking' up to you.   I have a wife and kid to take care of so going to prison for feeding a politician a knuckle sandwich is not an option.  Writing letters, sending faxes, making phone calls and contributing to 2A organizations as I can will have to suffice for now.

Besides a felony assault charge would definitely get my CCW revoked.

Brett, I totaly understand where you are coming from! Now i dont necessarily mean actually hitting one in the mouth(although that would feel so good) but I Really think they dont think we will do a damned thing about it! just for the reasons you gave. We all are sitting pretty and comfortable. Maybe we should ask ourselves where we would be had the founding fathers felt that way! better yet if OUR fathers!

Like the poll asks, When will you be pushed far enough to go out and risk what you have to keep it?

Are we gonna wait until they come for our rifles to die in the front yard or we gonna tell em if they think that way we will fight together as a People!

What I'm afraid of is that everyone will sit back(beacause they have families and good jobs) and when the SHTF its to late to do anything but get on the train to the goolag! This socialist agenda is headed that way as far as i'm concerned!

I see someone thinks everything is peachy and I'm full of it! That was an option, but I would think you would have the cahones to speak up and say why.

I would much prefer to change things with the ballot box ,and not with the ammo box.
