Can this be rebarreled to 257 weatherby?
Any help on finding barrel makers would be a big help.

The 116FSS is made in many calibers and I assume different action lengths. The Short action would not be suitable for the 257 Weatherby but the long action would. The 116 is made in 300RUM and surely would handle the 257 cartrifge with ease. There would be several parts required depending of course on the caliber it currently is chambered for. With the savage action at least the parts are not prohibitively expensive. I don't know is anyone makes an interchangeable barrel assembly in that caliber. Any competant smith should be able to fabricate a barrel for the savage.

The savage is a7mm rem mag

That would mean a long action receiver, which can be converted to 257 Weatherby. I don't know of a readily available barrel, preturned for the 257 in the Savage by a good smith can certainly make one.. The other parts that may be needed would be available from Savage or Brownells..
