Well I picked up my new to me Blackhawk in 41 mag with 4 5/8" barrel. It was advertised as used with some holster wear which it has but it still locks up real tight and the barrel is perfect. Not a single pit or scratch with very shiny rifling. It cost me $331 out the door at my FFL. I think I got a pretty good deal on it. The only thing I don't like is that it has Pachmire presentation grips. I had hoped to buy a used one with wood but I can add that later if I decide to. Now to save up enough to load and shoot some. Thanks to everyone for the input that helped me decide on this particular gun. I'll try to get a pic posted soon in the current single action pic's thread. Charlie

  Good choice!  Those .41's are a great gun.  Sorry to hear of those Pachmayers.  That's simply sacrilegious putting rubber baby bumpers on a nice SA.  Plenty of choices available for a more traditional look & feel.

I put a set of Pachmyers on my Single Six.  They are a little bigger than the factory wooden grips and fit my hand better.  I like the wooden grips on my Vaquero. 

Try your Pachmyer grips.  You may like the fit and the way they work for you.
