Lightest Ladder Stand?
« on: December 30, 2009, 09:36:48 AM »
Anybody know who makes the lightest ladder stand? I don't like climbers and am in the market for a new ladder, but hunt public land so it needs to be light.

Ladder stands are not intended to be carried in, put up and hunted from then taken down and brought out each day. Unless you are a real light weight yourself ya prolly don't wanna climb up into the very lightest you can find. At best they are a noisy PITA to carry around. Real bad plan.

Why don't ya think about a ground blind instead?

You may want to check out Rivers Edge's  Pack - N - Stack Ladder Tree Stands. They are designed to be packed in and set up.
