Time to start preparing for the hunt.
« on: April 26, 2010, 02:08:01 PM »
Big Game licenses just went on sale up here for the fall.
As they have advanced the date we need to get in the draw for a doe tag, I've reminded all my guys.
I've also started burning off that winter blubber.

I have a few new loads I want to try in a few rifles. We need to cut wood for the hunt camps.
Lots of pre-season scouting to do.

Yes, It's still early, but, time moves fast.

Heck, we can't even get a license at home until 1 Jul. They are valid 1 Jul-30 Jun now. I'm deployed, so no getting ready at the moment, other than the fitness part of it.

We have only a two week gun season in November here. The rest is bow hunting.
However, if you want a tag for both sexes, you need to get in early.
Where are you deployed?
