http://www.sacbee.com/topstories/story/2423529.html?storylink=omni_popularI do not do business in California Cities that are assaulting gun owners. It is interesting that many of the same cities are sanctuary cities. These cities harbor illegal immigrants whose mere presents are illegal and have started down the path of crime when they entered the United States. It is not very difficult to commit the next crime.
An article in the Los Angeles Times says that illegal’s are not responsible for high prison cost in California.
Contrary an earlier article identifies major cost associated with illegal immigrants in the criminal justice system.
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2009/03/california-corr.htmlhttp://www.mcclatchydc.com/homepage/story/80370.htmlCalifornia is not the only State that is paying the price. But these cities continue to provide sanctuary.
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/22/us/22arizona.html?_r=1http://www.news-herald.com/articles/2008/12/04/news/nh188157.txtThere are many examples to be had, but counties separated from major cities such as San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Sacramento pay the price. Major North-South Freeways are a conduit for illegal criminals. Attorneys and civil rights groups have done battle in courts to keep law enforcement from profiling them. At times it is rather easy when you see an overloaded van going 54 miles per hour down the freeway when the posted speed limit is 70 miles per hour. Hispanic might be a clue, but seeing how the occupants are dressed and act are also a clues.
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/11/us/11sanctuary.htmlThis fall the California Highway Patrol made a stop on a van that was outside of the profile. It had a number of illegal immigrants in it with a load of power tools stole in Oregon. They were heading for the Mexican Border to sell the weed eaters and other tools. The immigrants were from El Salvador.
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2004/aug/17/20040817-011448-1322r/San Francisco has a policy of not turning juvenile offenders who are illegal to immigration. There has been a public issue over one from El Salvador that has repeatedly commented crimes.
New York is a few hundred behind California in the number of people that have left the State, but a point of interest from the article is that New York City is dependent on immigration from outside the United States. I have read many times how New York City rules the State of New York and victimizes residents of lesser populated areas in the State.
An argument could be made that New York City uses the illegal population to subvert the rights of American born citizens of the State.
It was interesting that when Hispanic groups file an employed law suits to improve the number of Hispanic people hired that they want the numbers of Illegal Hispanics included the population that impacts the case resolution. Clearly the United States is under attack by these groups and the Sanctuary Cities are undermining this country.
I should note that Hispanic illegal’s are not the only ones that are operating illegally, white Russians, Asians, Africans, and Europeans.
Examined the Sanctuary Cities in your State, are the same cities attacking the right to own firearms? Do these cities have a high immigrant population that contributes to the State prison population which all residents of the State pay to support?
