I seen a gun in the gun store but the guy was busy so i didn't get a chance to ask.  Its the biggest cylinder I have ever seen and the biggest single action in stainless too??  Is it a 444 or 45/70?  Its just something I gotta have??                                                   BigBill

Hmm.....big, stainless, big, and single action....and big.

Lemme see............

Have no idea, compadre.  Lots of big revolvers out there.  The biggest I've seen was the .500 S&W, but it was double action.  The super redhawk is a fair piece of artillary too, but it's also double action.

Maybe you should go back of give them a call and see?

Good luck,
~Rat

Oh come on these aren't that bad??  The 44mag with hot loads never impressed me it can still be handled and hit what I aim at.  Its not that bad as some say it is.  These bigger guns are actually less because their bigger frames and more weight they actually balance better.    BigBill

I would like to shoot one I'm sure the flames are impressive??  The 357 and 44mag have 6" flames both sides of the cylinder and a foot of flame out the barrel awesome sight in low light.

magnum research customer service sucks,my $1200 desert eagle safety loosened up and blew apart and they cant even find me replacememnt parts.
levers $30
springs$20
screw$10
shipping $20
cost me about $200 and I still cant shoot the pistol.
the frames are manufactured by ruger,I have no idea who does the cylinders, but stay away from magnum research unless your bill gates lol.
once they get your cash, they couldnt care less about your satisfaction.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Magnum Research. They were very helpful when I called with my one hundred and one questions. A buddy of mine has a Desert Eagle in 44MAG and he shot lead bullets and plugged up the gas ports. Magnum research repaired and replaced parts for him at no charge even when it was his fault for shooting lead bullets. I have the BFR in 500MAG. I have not had any problems at all with the gun. I have been considering getting the 45-70 also. :-D
