The primary attraction of fallow deer (to me at least) is the wide palmation of the antlers they are famous for. I'm not sure how much palmation you'd see in a three year old buck. I suspect it takes a bit longer that that to develop to the level that I at least like to see. If like me the palmation is important to you I suggest you do a bit of checking.
I'd also be a wee bit concerned about the honesty of their pricing basing it on age. Even trained biologist can't seem to agree on the age of white tail deer when aging them by tooth wear. How do they determine the age of them? I doubt they've had them since birth or that you can look at a colored tag on the ear to determine it. I'd rather pay by the SCI or ROE score which is a hard and fast measurement you can easily learn ahead of time to double check their accuracy so you know you are getting what you pay for.

GB, you're right as always. Ethan spoke of a management hunt so I suspect that three year old, for the price quoted, is a cull.
