Which 25-35 Barrel looks best?

The Cannon6 fat barrel or CW's long skinny one?

Larry,
I think you have outdone yourself!!  THEY BOTH ARE GRAND!!!

I'm kinda partial to the "svelte" offering..  ::) It's kinda like the new me!!  (210lbs compared to 270lbs this time last year!!)

CW, after accomplishing that, you deserve a "svelte" barrel.  They are both a testament  to Larry;s work.   ;D Doug

The skinny one is more in keeping with the old cartridge.  Not a lot of bull barrel 25-35's in history....but both look good.

If it's to be a hunting rifle that you carry a lot and shoot a little, go thin  :). If you intend to punch targets with it, go fat :'(.
I also second eskimo's point.

Having handled both I really don't know which I prefer, thay both have their charms.  A 25-35 is a real natural for a Handi rifle, low pressure, rimmed medium capacity, it just has it all going for it.  Wish they would do some custom barrels or just sell fitted un-chambered ones, it would be a piece of cake to make up one of these from a blank 25-06 barrel.  Bet these are the only two in the free world.  Larry

I'll bet that skinny one is gonna be a joy to carry.  Without forarms on em, kinda hard to make up my mind, guess I'll just have to go visit CW after I see Doug. ;) ;D  DP

I can hardly wait to get my hands on it!! The rest of the rifle is sitting on the cleaning bench, just waiting on that barrel!!

The barrel arrived today!!!

I snapped it on the receiver and it was able to latch, but needed some finesse. Easy job, found one corner proud of the rest and easily fixed that on the bench. Then some careful stoning and the barrel locks up tite and solidly. Then I got the holes all degreased and the base mounted. I added the scope... yup another Leupold 2x7,  ::) Warne rings this time, then the hammer spur. MAN shes a beauty!! Its almost identical to the other Trotter special I have.

Thank you SO MUCH Larry!!!

Here she is next to my first Trotter special.. the 32/20!! Everyone can see the family resemblance!!!
