Did you always want to see The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall but just couldn't make it out to Washington DC? Well, now, you can see the Wall right from the comfort of your computer. At the
Virtual Wall, you can look up fallen soldiers by Last Name, State, Military Unit, etc., and you will be provided with a short profile of the soldier. You can then click an option for a full profile. In addition, you can click on an option that shows you a close up of the name as it appears on the Wall. The short profile shows all the medals and patches worn by the soldier. The full profiles shows much more detail. Following is an example of a full profile. The soldier listed was the brother of one of my best friends. I removed his Name, City, and ID Number, because I didn't ask the family if I could display his info:
