wood packbaskets: What do I look for when buying one?
« on: October 31, 2003, 09:27:34 AM »
HI:

I am looking to buy a new wood packbasket this season. What should I be looking for in a new wood packbasket? Is a narrow weave basket worth the extra cost?

                                                                         Thanks,

Forget the wood packbasket,I used them for 35 years no matter how well you take care of them--they just dont last.I switched to the fiber tuff basket 5 years ago--no maintenance, no problems.
It is the only basket I sell, and the only one I will use--the one I have shpild last the rest of my life.   Tom
