   With all the hype coming from Iran about wiping out Israel, whom they consider the "Lesser Satan", could it be to divert attention from their true plan of first neutering the "Great Satan" ?
    Can't see them wasting a nuke on Israel without first wrecking havoc on a nation that might retaliate. What if 9-11 was only a cheap allegory of coming events?

Well the best answer I can think of is our policy concerning nuclear and biological weapons , and that is to reply in kind . I.E. use a nuke on us and we nuke you back . now as to weather the current administration would be willing to "retaliate in kind " is a whole  nother thing .
