Williams sights
« on: January 04, 2010, 06:19:04 PM »
I have a question on how the sights on a handi 45-70 barrel work in their incriments. There are the 4 long tick marks and several in between. Are they 25, 50, or 100 yd marks?

those are just referance marks.you will have to test your rifle with your loads at each yardage to see where it hits and either write down or rember what refrance mark it took to get there. also if you are using the globe front and change its apiture it will also change your rear settings also. DR

I agree with dangerranger, they are merely reference marks.
