The Felt recoil will be the same if;
A, the stocks weight the same
B, the loads are the same.
Most of the plastic stocked guns I have shot, they were Bolts, were lighter than the wooden counter part.
Equal and opposite reactions.
I have three 45-70's. A 1895, No 3, and a custom Bolt, had an 1884 trapdoor Cadet. All have wood stocks and the same loads in them created wide differences in recoil. The 405's out of all are pleasant with the cowboy lead rounds being the softest on the shoulder.
Moving up in velocity (the Trap door only had one 300 grainer through it.) to the 300 grainers @ 1800 FPS and you can tell between the 6# No 3 and the 8# 1895 rifle and move into the Buffalo Bore rounds and the No. 3 is down right un pleasant to shoot.
Both have similar stock designs and the axis of the bore is about the same place on the lever and the falling block. The bolt is another critter all together and I do not want to compare it.
I guess it will depend on what you want ot shoot through it and how much lighter the plastic stocks make the rifle.
