Could be there are size limits. You can likely determine the definition of your camera by a setting or you can resize them with a program for that purpose.

The file size of your pictures is most likely too large.  You can use a program to reduce the file size, or, when taking photos for posting on this website, set your camera for "basic / small".  You are probably now using the " large / fine"  setting, which provides a large file size for printing and making enlargements, but is over kill for Internet use.  File size could best be described as the amount of digital information in the picture.  Too much makes for slow uploads, and often exceeds the file size limit for websites such as this one.

You might get a free account at www.hunt101.com  They automatically resize your pics, while still maintaining the full size version too. They also give you the HTML code to post a pic on forums, and did I mention it's FREE?

Microsoft has a free image resizer at,
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/Downloads/powertoys/Xppowertoys.mspx

It's called oddly enough "Image Resizer" just scroll down the page to find it.  I use it all the time when sending pictures to people.  Put the curser over the picture, right click the mouse, pick "resize picture", choose the size you want (I like large most of the time), that's it.  Creates a picture with the same name saying large, small, etc...  Reduces 5 meg pictures to a more manageable size for sending or posting.

My picture of the bighorn was approximately 4 megapixels and was reduced to about 60 KB with this utility.
