Cheek piece for SMLE

Anybody out there know of anyone making aftermarket cheek pieces for SMLE? I scoped mine and the stock is just to low.

try getting one of the leather cheek pieces for the garands

Thought about having one made at the local leather working shop, but would really like a wooden screw on type like they had for the T models.

if you can't find one, leather ones are on ebay for $13

The garand had a scope mount that off set the scope to the left side of the action so that the spent cartridge wouldn't hit the scope when ejected. so the leather cheek peice doesn't help because it pushes the head to the left. I need someting that gives me support up higher on top of the stock.

Try numrich aka gunparts. Last I looked the cheek piece was about $40 or less. origionals go for about $70-80. Frank
