DANG! C4 get a hold of yourself ! I was just using her as an example. Nothing to do with her left leaning holly weird logic. Palin is not a bad looking woman, but a raving beauty she is not.I'm sure there are many attractive, patriotic women out there, that are not qualified to hold the office of President of the USA, and in my opinion she is one of them.

We need more men like Ron Paul in office, that are qualified, and have the intellect to run a country.
Not someone that looks good and can smile purdy.

I'm sure Sarah would make a good first lady, but I don't think her husband is running.......is he?

Okay...

:)I just needed to get that off my chest. I did say in my earlier post (21) that I questioned her qualification to be president and thought she needed to hold a congressional seat to gain experiance. And yes, we need more Ron Paul likes running and getting elected at all levels of government.

Dunno if she left the building or not but I'd say she has left politics. How many folks do you know who have ever been a TV or other media news person who have ever stepped into politics?

Personally I think she made a conscience decision to abandon public office and instead seek her fortune elsewhere.

I think your right, and a wise decision on her part if she does.
Some folks think Rush Limblow, Billy O, and Shallow Sean Hannibal can walk on water..........She should be able to fly above it! "Besides" She's more pleasing on the eyes

Everytime she turned around, somebody, or group, was throwing an aligation in her face that she had to disprove, costing time and money. And, then her own party hits her with a $50,000 fee. I'ld get tired of getting bent over to. Hopefully Fox is paying her a tidy sum, and she can get on down the road to better things. And, I certainly think her going to work for Fox is the right network, it's more conservative than any other network. I can't picture her working with that limp wristed Oberman, or the butch girl, Madow. She'll fit in with Beck and O'Rielly. gypsyman

I'll take a leader with common sense and good principles any day over a so-called intellectual who thinks they know what is best for all of us--even if we don't want it. If you want the opposite, just look at what we have now.

Anyone who thinks Sarah Palin doesn't make it in the "looks" department should have their eyes checked. I'd still vote for her if she were ugly, but she's not, so so much the better.

Regan was very politiclaly active for years before he ever ran for gov of Cal. He was very knowledgable of the economy, role of government and world affairs. Not to mention, he was a great public speaker. I like Palin but she just seems lack experiance and real conviction. Thats not to say she can't build her self up. I do not think she is less quailified than obama. But then again, I don;t think obama is qualified to hold any public office.

I have long felt fearfull of our government. And I have said this before, I fear them far more that any terrorist,terroist organization or 2-bit dictator in some far off land. The real enemy of this country are the collective bunch of idiots we send to Washington and the long term resulting nightmares they implement that long out live thier political careers. It will take decades to solve the Washington problem and that will only happen if the people of this country can ever realize what they (Washington) are doing to this once great land. Even after that, we have policies and actions in motion that have momentum and no politician can stop the impacts overnight. Thic country will likly hit rock-bottom before we ever even have a chance to finally realize how far we have dropped. We are like a plane with a broken altimeter flying in the dark. Once we finally crash, the surviving experts will try and figure out what the heck happened.

I'm not sure how knowledgable someone has to be to take over if there is any logic to them. Economics is pretty simple, let the people spend the money they make it will get taxed several more times before it makes it to the governments. Spending more than you bring in not logical no matter where you are.
If you think the role of government is small...your almost there without a degree of any kind. Economics is made out to be some really hard complicated thing by those in power, when really..they spend more than they have, period. Once you follow the rules of logic you can get more complicated maybe after that and dabble into other area's...but never spending more than you have before you have it.

Foreign affairs is a different deal with all that going on, but nothing you couldn't learn. And if your broke because of the above, that would complicate foreign affairs to...you might get desperate and borrow money from another country.
