Anyone try the ND3 laser designator?
« on: January 16, 2010, 01:20:54 PM »
I've been wondering has anyone used the ND-3 its made by BSA? I haven't found many reviews, but the ones I have found say they last 7-10 mins, not "7 hours continuous use" as advertised. I'd like to try this on coyotes but before I spend $300 I would like to know if anyone else has used one. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

No but I want one.  I was going to post this same question.  I see on SWFA there were 4 reviews - all positive.  Natchez is out but they offered a $50 Natchez coupon if you buy one.  I figure by next year there will be ripoffs on ebay for $150.

I have never used the ND-3`s, but have owned 23 of the Nc Star lasers. Their Red - Green lasers are real good for the price, I would say. I like the fact they use the 3 volt battries which last a very long time. You can also mount them by simply useing a 1 " scope ring. The Red and Green dot seem to have the exact same point of impact. What I don`t care for. Both dots are 4 " at 100 yrds. would prefer 2" or less. I use the laser with 3 rd. gen. nite vision and even the Red laser is brighter than I would like, I can see it on woods line 1/2 mile or farther away, and the beam seem to go forever when shined into the sky. If your after max. brightness get a Green laser.
