Sealant in tires???

Any of you guy's use sealant in your tires??? Like slime or similar...seems it'd cut down on flats etc...any recomendations on a product.

That nasty green slime is the product to use in the lighter weight (2 or 4 ply tires).  I run 6 ply mud tires almost all the time.  Once they've been aired tight enough to seat the beads you can let all the air back out and run them that way.  I seldom run over 3lbs. anyway.  Not much need for sealant with these.

Thanks for the reply...my reason for asking is that I'm liable to be over 20miles from my camp on any given day...the tires are the stock new factory tires....be a LONG way to walk!!

I've seen some similar stuff in a local sportsman's warehouse....I see they say to use 32 oz per tire??? I thought most you just used 16oz per tire???....Would 16oz per tire be adequate or ???

hey guys! sumpin to think about. i was reading farm show mag the other day, article where guy said put 3 0r 4 pages of newspaper and some old antifreeze inside atv tire when yu mount it. they swore it worked just like fix a flat. check out the ingredients on that tire sealent yu been buying. bet it is mostly ethelyne glycol in it. happy huntin!

Have 2 ATV'S and use slime in both of them and i've never had a flat
