New member with a new Handi
« on: January 09, 2010, 03:24:57 PM »
Greetings.  I have been lurking here for quite some time, and have decided to introduce myself.  I am from Traverse City, MI.

Just picked up a new Handi rifle (.308 survivor).  Looking forward to getting to the range and punching holes.

Already owned a few Mosin Nagants, as well as a couple .22 rifles, a couple shotguns, and a Savage .17 HMR.  Also a .22 pistol (Ruger MKIII), and a .380 pistol (FN 1922, Browning design).

My 10 year old son and I enjoy spending the day at the range and plinking.  He can burn up a lot of ammo, and typically outshoots me.

Looking forward to spending some time here and getting to know you folks.

Thanks.

Tim

Welcome !

Bought me a 308 the other day and I really like the round and the rifle!

Good choice for a first Handi!  Welcome to GB, the premier forum on the internet, and the premier repository of Handi rifle knowledge!

Now read the FAQ's at the top, and go right out and buy a dozen or so more Handi's....it's good therapy.

By the way, my son in law bought his first gun ever just recently,  at the age of 39...a 308 Handi Survivor.
