I finally got my 44 barrel!
« on: January 20, 2010, 08:59:11 AM »
Well it came in the mail yesterday and it fit's my 25-06 receiver as good as any barrel I own! I can't wait to shoot it.. I went out at lunch to buy some rounds and the gun shop only had the Blazer with aluminum case. It wasn't what I had in mind so I didn't buy it. Has anyone used it in there Handi? Or does anyone have a factory round that their Handi likes better than others?

Thanks,

Jon

If it's a newer barrel, most guys seem to like the Win White Box at Walmart for about $33.00.

If you dont reload the may be OK, but if you do, or ever plan to, get brass cased loads & you have a good start on components.

That's what I was looking for, but everyone seems to be out...

I didn't get it through he factory, but it took a long time to find one and be the first to lay dibs on it... These guys on here are fast to scarf them up if it's priced right! ;D
