The "git box." That's a good name to call a guitar. My brother, a very accomplished jazz guitarist before his untimely death at age 43, used to call his guitar a "git fiddle."

That's a shame about your brother. So young!


It's an old name for it. I always liked that name. I also like "axe", but so many people use it that I use something else.
