I would be very leary of any such product that is only guaranteed for 25 years. You usually get about what you pay for, but it really pays to shop around.
I installed a laminate floor in our kitchen that has a lifetime guarantee and I think it is a Mohawk product. I did a lot of research and shopping before I settled on this brand and it wasn't cheap, but I'm so glad that I didn't settle for something less. That's not to say that there aren't other very good brands out there.
Check out the type and thickness of the finish coating and compare. There are several types of under pads. I found that the best is not necessarily the most expensive. Be sure that you understand the installation requirements; give it at least a 3/8" border to float in.
And finally, don't use your best carbide saw blade to cut the stuff, because it will be ruined. By all means use a carbide blade but be aware that it will be toast at the end of the job--or maybe before the end.
