92 feed problems

Took the 92 carbines out today with some pmc 158gr jsp. The new emf loaded great, but my older rossi wouldn't feed. The feed angle was too steep but if I backed it off it would pop level then slide in when finished the lever.

Any thoughts? Do I have a weak feed spring? :scratching head:

Is it a 38 or 357 and does it do it with other ammo? It might be that the OAL of that cart. is to long, I know in my 454 m-92 it's real picky about OAL and wont chamber a round that is to long.

TN, I have a Rossi imported by Navy Arms. Slick little rifle with walnut stocks. I had to cut a new ejector, and while I had it apart I re cut the extractor HOWEVER! It doesn't feed semi wad cutters well, but is as slick as snot on a door knob with the round you posted IN 357 mag. It CAN occasionally hang a little with the same bullet on 38 special, but rarely.
Are you snappin the action all the way open or could you be short strokin it?
