I just purchased a 15 in. .308 barrel for my Encore...I had one a few years back that I parted ways with
...missed my ol deer slayer so I bought another. I have always shot Burris scopes on my revolvers, and my old .308 had a 2-7 TC scope...it held up very well, and was also very clear. My question is would a less expensive scope, say a Simmons Pro-Hunter or a Bushnell Elite hold up to the recoil of the .308 as well as a Burris? Is it worth the extra money to go with the Burris or Leupold?? The paychecks dont seem to go as far as they used to, so looking to save a buck.
Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!
