Speaking of wolf populations in Yellowstone, anyone ever hear of Jami Rappaport Clark? Might have her middle name misspelled, however, she is a rabid anti-hunter, and she was in charge of the Dept. of Fish and Wildlife a little bit ago. During her term of office, she got , shall we say, "Miffed" with the slowness to re-introduce the wolf back to Yellowstone, so she "acquired" 50 of them, I believe from Canada, and had them introduced into the eco-system of Yellowstone National Park. These creatures were all infected with Ecinococulus, which is a deadly type of tape worm, in my understanding. This "bug" can survive for months, even over a sever winter of temps down to 60 below, is passed thru fecal and urine waste of the wolf, and has infected the Bison and Elk populations of Yellowstone and the surrounding area. The ranchers there shoot on site the Bison or Elk that wander off the Park. This can be passed to humans by eating the flesh that is in contact with this worm, and is deadly. It forms a cyst, which is very painful and must be surgically removed. If the cyst is opened, the spread is rapid and fatal. Anyway, I posted this only as a word of caution, and don't believe me, check it out for yourselves. ...just saying....BoomLover
