Ruger blackhawk grips

My used 41 mag blackhawk came with Houge rubber grips. I want to buy a set of wooden grips but want to make sure I get ones that will fit my pistol. What should I look for? Will any wooden grip for BH or SBH or Vaquero fit? Thanks, Charlie

Grips for blackhawk single six and vaquero will interchange but the super blackhawk is a little longer in the grip. It's nice to check with gun shops or pawn shops and see if the'll let you try a pair before you buy them. It's amazing how much differant some grips will fit.

Since there's now two different grip frames for Blackhawk marked models, do the easy thing...remove your grips and in the webbing area of the grip frame, look at see what it has, "XR3-RED", etc...
