How are fresh fox/coyote glands used?
« on: November 05, 2003, 12:37:06 PM »
Hey guys, I collected some fox glands (couldn't find any but the anal ones). Now, how do we use them as an attracter? Can I just toss them down a dirt hole? As always,I truly do appreciate any advice!

Glands should first be finely ground or chopped with a blender.  Then one can add them to a lure base such as urine, glycerine, fish oil or ground meat.  Other ingredient can be added also to the base or just the glands themselves. Probably the best and most effective way for a novice would be to add them to urine.  It is best to let the combination age for a while to get the most benefit, shaking it up often during the ageing process.  Good luck!  Ace
