Oh the pain! Oh the agony!
« on: February 03, 2010, 04:59:11 AM »
I just heard an interview with Republican National Committee chairman Michael Steele, promoting his new book. It was so painful to listen to. The interviewer was even giving hopeful answers to fundamental party questions while Steele fumbled with them trying to form answers.

It seems like he's an intelligent man, just not the kind of guy you put in front of the public.

Although I am by no means a good public speaker, I could have done better extemporaneously.

I guess he was willing to go through the pain and agony, to promote his new book. However it probably didn't help him much. Its all about the money though. Us little people must have such drab dull lives, that we have to buy books about someone else's 15min of fame...not.

The whole premise that the republican party thought they had to select a brother after obama was elected makes my skin crawl! Not that he is black mind you but the fact that "they" thought it a good idea is pathetic! Everytime I see him I start thinking maybe there is something to this "Republican party is dead" thing! If so then the leftist have won without firing a shot! now they will have to shoot themselves in the foot which looks likely.

Write in your mother in law for the next election! She may not know what the hell is going on but she dont like you and that makes her a good judge of character, and the fact that she will be in Washington most of the time cant be a bad thing!  ;)
