Encore rimfire barrels: different scope mount?

I notice that mounting surface on the Pro Hunter rimfire barrels is flat where the center fires are all round.  

Do they need a different mount, and what would you suggest?

Weaver says they don't manufacture a base for the rimfire barrels. 

Why did T/C make it a flat mounting surface!?

You will need to order the TC base, part # 9862 in silver or # 9864 in blued.  I found out the hard way as well and ended up returning a standard base.

Also, in case you didn't know, never ever dry fire the rimfire barrel.  It will peen the chamber and require repair before you can chamber rounds again.
