17 ackley bee on model 158 topper

 Has it been done would be safe to do.it is a 20 gauge. i dont know much about the model 158 or how strong they are.Jim

The M158 was chambered in 30-30 and 357Max, so it should be fine.

I have one in 22 Hornet and one 30-30. I don't know the operating pressure of the 17 ackley bee, so I hope those two help.

I'm gonna do a 17HMR on a low pressure frame but do a Hornet first that will leave me metal for the Bee the 17rem 17 Fireball and the others. I think you will be alright.Maybe a 17 Rem Jet now that I got a 22 Jet.Kurt

 Here it gos i will stub . for 17 ackley bee . i just love doing small cal .i am going to use a 16 \34 barrel on this. i will let everyone how it shoots. Thank all of you for help. Jim
