been watching some shows on tv..are there really that many dens that each bear can find one to hibernate in ..if not survivalist,,need to think about that..im thinking many bears must dig thier on den..
they must instinctively know to dig it so the water don t fill it during winter rainy spells..
it takes us longer to dig one with bear hands but it might be worth thinking about..thats what charlie did in the war that wasn t.. slim

Slim:  I've seen them dig a hole and crawl inside.  Curl up at the base of a tree, in a spot where they are protected from rain and wind then just wait to be covered with snow.  I've found them under deadfalls.  Anywhere where they feel protected and dry.

I've personally never found one in a cave, too cold I think.  When they are covered in snow they are in a nice warm nest, with temp usually in the 20s, no matter how cold it is outside.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.
