Muzzle end of the .357 measuse .75, .44 measures .82, .223 measures .89. So your feel was correct they are a touch lighter. Should be just as nice to carry as it is to shoot.
yesterday I was pretty much shooting to dirty the barrel. I have some cheap factory reloads, and some PMC rounds I was shooting. The reloads shot real nice groups, but they are light loads with 158 semi wad cutters. The pmc's were semi jacketed shot ok not great, the couple Magtechs I shot were 8" higher then the rest and went off the paper. So I didn't waste anymore of them for now. After I shoot it a bit I plan it turning into a Maximum
Yeah the Geese probably would have landed several miles if I could have hit 1. They were a ways up there. Crows? I will have to keep watching the field next door and see
Edited; I did forget to mention, The trigger is absolutely terrible. I think the pull on this one is somewhere around 20lbs
ok maybe not that bad but it is very heavy. I have fairly strong hands, I tried one time to squeeze with my thumb and finger. I had to jerk a bit to fire it
Really need to learn the trigger job rutine.
My .44 is an 2007 on the came on the SB2 frame with iron sites as well. But I need a reciever for the .223. So the .44 went on a spare SB1 and now wears a Boyds thumbhole and scope.
