Reloading 22 savage hp
« on: February 07, 2010, 09:28:52 AM »
I have done a few preliminary searches, but have not been able to find any reloading gear/components for 22 Savage HP.  I found some old combos in the caliber, but need to source components/dies etc. before I purchase.  Anyone know a source for brass, bullets or dies?  Thanks.

YK, I thought Hornady made 228 dia. bullets for the hi power?????I have had good luck with Redding dies in odd calibers...Also I think the the hi power is pretty popular in Canada, and ammo or brass could be available there...If you don't locate anything, I read something about this caliber sometime ago..so given some time I can find that information if need be.....

midway has brass http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=1311578090
Hornady makes a .227 70gr SP with cannelureb SKU: 2280 for the 22 hi powder

You can get on this site also   http://www.huntingtons.com/
Look at custom bullets they have 60/70gr for the 22 hi power plus Nomra brass and they can supply dies.

S&B makes reloadable brass cased ammunition for .22 Savage HP.  J&G Sales stocks it.

Thanks for the information.  I appreciate it.  I will keep looking into it.  Looks like S&B ammo, then dies and bullets to reload.  I like the S&B brass, and it is less expensive to buy loaded rounds than norma brass.

Thanks again.
