Percussion Caps vs 209 Caps
« on: February 09, 2010, 03:33:43 AM »
How many of you still use the percussion caps on your inline rifles?  I do.  I've never  had a problem.  I still use Goex 2F also.  However, all my hunting shots are under 100 yards. I've used the percussion caps in pouring rain, and the went off ok.

I still do and admit to tryin the 209's never had a problem with any going off, but the crud ring with the 209's sent me back to the #11's.  I prefer RWS caps then the newer Remington mags.  My Whites require them and haven't let me down yet.

I sold my Encore in December, so don't own a 209 shooter anymore!! 8)
