Very interesting collection!

I have 11 and 9 year old boys, so they take most of my time. But in my "spare" time I have 2 old Barracudas, a 66 on the road and a 65 that is in pieces across my garage being restored. I also brew beer. Have a Rauch, Classic american pils, black ipa, and brown porter going with an Irish stout and a Russian imperial stout on tap.

Mostly I shoot, ride motorcycles and fly fish. I'm hoping that messing with cannon will soon rank up there with those... I did order a small barrel from Brooks to play with while I'm pondering building a swivel gun.  :)

Hmmmmm... combining cannons and flyfishing. Maybe the modern equivalent of "stoning the pool" like the salmon fishers used to do.  I'll try anything once.

I sometimes use this as a warning that I am about to fire a cannon. ;D

I should have kept the  air horns off my old 75 Peterbilt . They were dandies . My newer truck only had one horn . The old one had a set of long bell tuned horns . Really Cool   , Perhaps a trip to the wrecking yard is in order. ::)

"Must be an American thing  "

They are targets for 22 rim fire rifles or pistols . The "BB " ones are for BB guns . Not high quality air rifles but the old Daisey Lever action type.

Yes I'm a bit cracked  but still sane  :)

Jebbus Spud ! I think you might consider shooting your cannon to warn of the air horn ! You wobbled the cammera wit that thing .

On a cruise years ago my daughter and I were standing on the uppermost deck just under the stack looking into the town . All of a sudden ..... an indescribable 'low note' of high amptiltude occurred .

The ship farted BIG time I nearly dropped my camera overboard as I was attempting a pic ,and myself was stunned a second , till I realized what the heck it was , then it was just god awfull loud ......then it was gone . Reverberating between my ears ...(even now if I try) ;D

It seems the boat had "left the dock" ......I'm thinking ...and so it left the dock and you blew your friggin horn .

Half the world now knows we left the dock . BFD I coulda died !

Maybe more , but I dont want to exaggerate , Two "Emporer's Torpedos" later ,and a "Blue Sally" I got better . Later that day I made a full recovery ! ::)

sorry to go on.....Gary   shoot the cannon first then the horn lest I drop my camera

I have a Stebel Nautilus on the bike. In the grand scheme of truck/train/boat horns, it's small time, but for a compact motorcycle it's pretty loud.

The old horn, circa '92, had degraded to a pitiful "mewp mewp" that was barely audible above the baffled drag pipes at anything much above idle. The little air horn (actually two horns molded into a single unit) turns heads!

Loud pipes horns save lives!

Pyro13, I brew as well....

Right now I've got a 20 gallon batch of Oktoberfest about to be kegged, 25 gallon batch of pale ale just starting out, and 12 or so gallons of mead at month 2
