scope and grip question from m44
« on: December 14, 2010, 02:05:22 PM »
first grip question . Anyone here put the hogue monogrip on theirs? I went to the local gun shop and the guy had display models of the monogrips and they felt like hogue made them for my hand lol . the factory taurus grips on the m44 fells like jelly and the finger grips arent felt concave . i shot the m44 before it was put on layway . i never held it very tight somewhat loose. i think the hogues will give me better control of the gun .

Now scopes/redot  i found that the m44 uses a bsquare 42305 scope mount i dont know if the rb series scope rail wiould work since the barrel shapes are different . also any good scopes.redot under 100$ is was looking at this one

only reason because i read that it will withstand shotgun recoil

my brother has a centerpoint on his 30-06 but the battery died after 3 months uses and it was only turned on a few times while it doesnt matter with a scope battery life with a redot is more important maybe aftermarket battrys
