They are good rifles, don't know if thats a great price, but I think it's fair.  I own 5 of the 92's but not in 45 Colt, mine are 357's 44 mag and 454's.  The 92 action is a strong one and can handle Ruger/TC loads easy.  DP

I had an older Rossi 92 imported my interarms years ago in 45 Colt, Rossi makes good 92's.

CorBon has a couple of good loads, but pretty spendy.  PMC had some 300 gr loads rated at 1200 fps, but haven't seen any for a few years.  For the 45 colt, you are better off handloading, pick your bullet, pick your speed and put meat in the freezer.  The Ruger/TC loads in the Rossi are not hot ones, you would be well with in working pressure for the 92.  DP

Just about any factory load should be fine under 100 yards.
except cowboy action stuff that is.
