H110 and W 296 actually performs better than Lil'Gun with light bullets. I not only got higher velocity, but I got better accuracy too. I used a load right out of Speer manual #14. The only difference was they used their 33 grain bullet and I used a 34 grain MidSouth Varmint Nightmare. They have a heavier load of W296/H110 with CCI 500 primers than anyone else. The starting load is Winchester cases, CCI 500 primers (standard small pistol), 12.4 grains of W296/H110 and their 33 grain bullet seated to 1.680" OA for 3198 fps - H110 and 3054fps - W296. Max load of 12.8 H110 - 3229 fps and 12.8 W296 - 3217 fps. Notice there is only .4 grains between the starting load and the max load. There is a warning that says to only use the CCI 500 primer. They said they could get higher velocities with small pistol primers than small rifle primers (within safe pressure limits) and if you are going to use small rifle primers to reduce the powder load. I have been using the starting load with very good velocity (around 3100 fps 24" barrel), good accuracy and at least seemingly low pressure. At least the cases do not show signs of pressure and the primers do not flatten out a lot and my velocity was near what the book said I should get. It did so well that I did not even try any thing other than the starting load - so I do not know if it will do better at a heavier powder load; and I wanted to keep pressure as low as possible - to maximize case life. I think the key to using W296 or H110 is to nearly fill the case. Using small pistol primers and 12.4 grains 296/110 you can come close. BTW 14.0C grains of Lil'Gun (max load) gets you 3093 fps - a starting load of W296 and not even a starting load of H110. I would suspect the gap would be even larger with a 30 grain bullet. Good Luck and Good Shooting
